参加規定書：作曲部門

2. 作曲部⾨の⽇程

  • 2021年3⽉1日 申し込み開始（参加申し込み受付開始）v
  • 2021年9⽉10日  9月17日 申し込み締め切り（提出作品の必着日）
  • 2021年9⽉17～30日 予選審査（譜面審査）
  • 2021年10,11⽉ 本選ノミネート作品の演奏収録
  • 2021年12⽉18日 本選審査会（ピアノ実演※）
  • 2021年12月19日 ガラコンサート

※本選で演奏をするピアニストは、コンクール側が用意する。

2. Dates for the composition category

  • 1 March 2021 　Entries submission starts
  • 10 September 17 September 2021 Entries submission deadline (the entry form should be completed and submitted no later than that day)
  • 17 September to 30 September 2021 Preliminary screening audition by adjudicating the scores
  • October and November 2021 Recording the nominated pieces to the final
  • 18 December 2021 The final stages; Each nominated piece will be performed by the piano *
  • 19 December 2021 Winners’ concert

* The competition office provides the pianist to perform the pieces.

3. 提出楽曲

  • 左⼿の為のピアノ独奏曲

諸条件

  1. 左⼿のみを演奏⼿段に⽤いる楽曲
  2. 曲の長さは、5～10分程度
  3. 内部奏法などの特殊奏法は⾏わない楽曲
  4. 未発表の曲に限る
  5. 応募作品は1人１作品に限る。
  6. 本選当日まで他のコンクールにおいて受賞歴のない作品とする。
  7. 一旦提出された楽譜の内容の変更や追加は認めない。
  8. 作品が剽窃と認められた場合は、入賞決定後も失格となる。
  9. 著作権管理会社への⽀払いが必要な場合は、作曲者本⼈が負担する。
  10. 万一の事故に備えて、作曲者は応募作品の原譜を必ず保管すること。
  11. 応募した資料は原則として返却されない。返却希望者は、予め返却費用を添えて、事前に申し出ること。
  12. 一旦納入された参加料は、いかなる理由があっても返金されない。
  13. 入選者作品については、⼀般社団法⼈ワンハンドピアノミュージックが楽譜出版を行うことを前提としている。
    • 楽譜の売り上げは規定の割合を作曲者に配分する。
    • 出版された楽譜の版⾯権は、⼀般社団法⼈ワンハンドピアノミュージックに帰属する。

3 Composition

  • The piece must be for piano solo using only the left hand

Terms and conditions

  1. 1. Submitted piece must be for piano solo using only the left hand.
  2. The piece should be approximately 5-10min. in duration.
  3. The piece must not require any special playing techniques such as direct manipulation of the strings.
  4. The piece must be unpublished.
  5. Only one entry per Entrant will be accepted
  6. The piece must not have been awarded at any other competition
  7. Changes or addition to the contents of the score are not permitted once submitted.
  8. The piece must be original. If the piece is recognised as plagiarism, the Entrant will be disqualified even after the prize is awarded.
  9. If payment to the copyright management company is required, the Entrant will pay the cost.
  10. The composer must keep the original score in case of an accident.
  11. The submitted materials will not be returned unless requested in advance with the adequate postal fee for the return.
  12. The entree fee is not refundable under any circumstance.
  13. As a precondition the scores of the winners’ pieces will be published by OneHandPiano.
    • A stipulated percentage of the sales of the score will be distributed to the composer.
    • OneHandPianoMusic reserves the right to publish the score.

  • 大賞および⼊選︓プロの左⼿のピアニストによる⾳源作成と配信・映像作成と配信。楽譜出版
  • 日本センチュリー交響楽団による室内楽曲の委嘱（作曲部門入賞者の中から選ばれます）

※第一次審査の結果、本選で演奏される作品を入選作として選出し、その中から大賞受賞作を決定する。
※2　版⾯権は⼀般社団法⼈ワンハンドピアノミュージックに帰属する。入選作品以外でも基準に達している作品を出版の対象とすることがある。

Awards

  • The grand prize : prize money 300,000yen
  • The grand prize and Winning pieces: A professional left hand pianist will record the videos. The sound source and the videos will be streamed.* The score will be published.

*The finalists will be nominated at the preliminary screening. The grand prize will be awarded among them.
*2 The pieces which meet the standard other than the winning pieces may be eligible for publication.

Grand Prize: 1 winner

  • Commission of a chamber music piece (with members of the Japan Century Symphony Orchestra and a left hand pianist)
    ※To be selected from the prize winners in the composition category.
