To all the supporters of the 2nd Wittgenstein Memorial International Piano Competition for the Left Hand
The organising committee of the competition would like to inform you of a new deadline for entry submission in the Composition category. The entry period for this category has been extended until Friday, the 17th. September, 2021. All submissions must be received by this date.
We have taken this decision in light of the rapidly spreading COVID-19 and the fact that some composers studying composition at universities or other educational institutions may need permission to submit their works.
We would like to thank all the composers who have already submitted their works. The composition category will be the first in the history of classical music to accept entries for works for left-hand piano performance. If you are considering applying, please take this opportunity to do so.

左手のピアノ国際コンクール実行委員会から、作曲部門開催についてのお知らせになります。当部門の参加応募受付の期間を延長いたします。新しい日程は９⽉17日（金）提出作品の必着日となります。
大学などの教育機関で作曲を学ばれている方の中には、提出する作品についての許可が必要になるケースがあるようで、急速な感染拡大をするコロナウィルスの影響を考慮して判断しました。
すでにご応募いただきました作曲家の皆さまには感謝申し上げます。この作曲部門は、左手のピアノ演奏のための作品を応募するという、クラシック音楽史初の試みになります。応募を検討されている方はぜひこの機会にお申し込みください
